What's the FreeBSD base for archBSD?

Hi,
I'm a current Archlinux and probably soon an archBSD user.
What's the base for archBSD? Does it more or less use the HEAD stuff from FreeBSD, or does it take the final release of FreeBSD and "only" uses the additional packages in a rolling release way?

It's pulled from the 9-stable git at the moment.

Will this eventually move to CURRENT, or will it stay on the stable releases for a while? I assume you're sticking with stable until ArchBSD gets a little more stable.

I think it's best to stick with stable, as stable is still a development branch so updates are quite frequent.
